Die Registrierungseinstellungen für diese Anwendung wurden nicht richtig kopiert. Um die Einstellungen zu korrigieren, führen Sie für diese Anwendungen noch einmal Setup im ursprünglichen Installationsverzeichnis aus.

Hier hat Microsoft einen KB-Artikel unter [2] mit Tipps zum Beheben des Problems veröffentlicht. Zudem gibt es unter [3] ein englischsprachiges Forum, wo Probleme mit Autorouts (Streets and Maps) erläutert werden.

Unter [4] gibt es eine weitere Forendiskussion, wo diverse Ursachen (Drittherstellertools) diskutiert werden. Hier hilft der abgesicherte Start über msconfig (siehe Problemdiagnose mit msconfig), um die Ursache herauszufinden.

1. Click on start button, in instant search, type “msconfig” (without quotation marks) and press Enter.

2. On the General tab, click on selective Startup.

3. Under Selective Startup, click to clear the following check boxes:

-Load system services.
-Load Startup Items.

4. On the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click on Disable All.

5. Click on Startup and then click on Disable all.
6. Click on OK, and then click on restart.

Disable any antivirus or system security software (Norton, MacAfee). Also, if you have any third-party software installed for video performance or refresh rate optimization, please disable that software.

Test the program.

To return to normal mode:
1. Click on Start button, enter msconfig again.
2. Go to General tab, click on Normal Startup, click OK and restart computer.

In my case, I found that the “Load Startup Programs” was the source of the problem. Then by troubleshooting the list (enabled them 5 at a time) I narrowed the problem down to Logitec’s Set Point program. I then enabled all the other programs, disabled the Logitec program and S&T 2011 then worked.

Thanks Mike! I use a DELL Precision 6600 Laptop and Win7x64+SP1 & Office 2011×86 and your method lead me to the problem, in my case it was the following Process in the Startup-List:
