Virtualbox 4.2.2 freigegeben

Es ist ja schon ein paar Tage her, dass die Version 4.2 von Virtualbox freigegeben wurde. Diese Version wurde unter anderem auf Windows 8 abgestimmt, führte aber in einigen Umgebungen und mit Gastsystem (wie dem hier beschriebenen Android 4.1 Jelly Bean) zu Problemen. Gestern hat Oracle das Maintenance Release 4.2.2 freigegeben.

Erste Stimmen berichten, dass Virtualbox 4.2.2 zu einer deutlichen Performance-Steigerung geführt habe – ich kann’s aus Zeitmangel momentan nicht testen. Die Changelog führt folgende Änderungen in der Maintenance-Release an.
