Windows UpdateFür die unterstützten Windows 10-Versionen hat Microsoft am 14. März 2017 die kumulativen Updates KB4013429, KB4013198 und KB4012606 freigegeben. Hinzu kommen das Servicing Stack Update KB4013418 und das Update KB4013419

Update KB4013429 für Windows 10 Version 1607

Update KB4013429 enthält diverse Qualitätsverbesserungen für Windows 10 Version 1607 (sowie Windows Server 2016) und hebt die Build-Nummer auf 14393.953. Hier die Liste der Verbesserungen:

  • Security updates to Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Graphics Component, Internet Information Services, Windows SMB Server, Microsoft Windows PDF Library, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Microsoft Uniscribe, the Windows kernel, DirectShow, the Windows OS, and Windows Hyper-V.

Das kumulative Update installiert nur die Patches, die noch nicht auf dem System vorhanden sind.

Ergänzung:  Ok, hab mich in der ersten Fassung in den KB-Nummern vertan und nur das Flash-Update KB4013329 im Updateverlauf gefunden. KB4013429 wurde nicht fertig installiert und die Neustart-Aufforderung kam erst sehr zeitverzögert. Jetzt ist das Update KB4013429 installiert und alles im grünen Bereich.

Probleme mit dem Update?

Microsoft schreibt auch, dass keine bekannten Probleme bestehen. Von meiner Seite kann ich ergänzen, dass die Systemwiederherstellung durch das Update laut diesem Kommentar (erneut) lahm gelegt wird. Das Problem samt Workaround habe ich im Blog-Beitrag Windows 10 Version 1607: Unbekannter Fehler 0x80070091 behandelt. Bei AskWoody findet sich hier der Hinweis, dass das Update die Anzeige von Forms in MS Dynamics CRM 2011 zerstört. Bisher ist aber unklar, ob da bei CRM 2011 Patches fehlen – irgend jemand betroffen.

Delta-Updates kommen

Im Microsoft Update Catalog wird das Ganze als 'Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607  (KB4013429)'  aufgeführt und die Paketgrößen liegen zwischen 700 und 1054 MByte. Dort gibt es übrigens eine Neuerung, Microsoft bietet erstmals sogenannte Delta-Updates wie '2017-03 Delta Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4013429)' an, die nicht mehr alle vorhergehenden Patches beinhalten. Dadurch sinkt die Paketgröße deutlich (siehe folgender Screenshot).

Update KB4013198 für Windows 10 Version 1511

Update KB4013198 enthält diverse Qualitätsverbesserungen für Windows 10 Version 1511 und hebt die Build-Nummer auf 10586.839. Hier die Liste der Verbesserungen:

Neben den obigen kumulativen Updates wurde noch das Servicing Stack Update KB4013418 (Servicing stack update for Windows 10 Version 1607 and Windows Server 2016: March 14, 2017) veröffentlicht. Dieses soll für Stabilitätsverbesserungen sorgen.

      Sofern Du Windows 10 Version 1607 benutzt, teste mal, ob die Systemwiederherstellung noch funktioniert oder am Ende des Vorgangs den Fehler 0x80070091 wirft.

        Eben getestet mit Win10-x64-1607 … funktioniert!

        Irgendwie fühlte ich mich dabei aber in die Zeiten meines Schneider PC1512 zurückversetzt; hat eine komplette Systemwiederherstellung bisher etwa 10 Minuten gedauert, waren es diesmal gut 1:15 Stunden! Werde das mal im Auge behalten.

    Die Benachrichtigung "March 2017 security update release" kommt vom MSRC. Das ist doch verdächtig (*), oder? Muß ich mir jetzt Sorgen machen?

    Heute Nacht wurde KB3150513 für Windows 10 1511, 1607, Server 2016 im WSUS importiert.
    Sieht nach Telemetrie aus.

    Bei meinem Desktop (P5220D) geht seit dem März-Update das Standby nicht mehr. Manuell erzwungen schon, aber das System geht nicht mehr den in den Energieoptionen eingestellten Werten folgend in den Standby oder Ruhezustand, sondern bleibt komplett an.

    Jedesmal, wenn ich solch elend lange "Listen der Verbesserungen", Changelogs etc. lese, stellt sich mir (nicht nur bei Microsoft) unwillkürlich die Frage: Wie kann das Zeug vorher jemals funktioniert haben???

      ja das frage ich mich auch.
      Ich habe hier zwei Rechner mit Win10. Mein Rechner an dem auch das Netzwerkkabel hängt hat nach dem Update keine Probleme bereitet.
      Der Rechner meiner Frau (über WLan verbunden) allerdings war nach dem Update nicht mehr zu "gebrauchen".
      Nach dem Neustart "pumpte" der Desktop im 2 Sekunden-Takt. Die Icons verschwanden nach kurzer Zeit und kamen dann auch wieder nach ca. 2 Sekunden. Das in einer Endlosschleife.
      Kein Kommando mehr möglich. Nur noch 8 Sekunden Einschaltknopf drücken, um den Rechner herunter zu fahren.
      Nach Partitions-Rücksicherung (Acronis-Reparatur-CD) lief alles wieder – wie gewohnt -ohne Probleme.
      Übrigens, der Grafiktreiber von nVidia war schon vor dem Update auf dem neuesten Stand und funktionierte einwandfrei.
      Ich habe vorerst in den "Diensten" das Windows Update" deaktiviert.
      Mal sehen, ob ich ein Einzelfall bleibe oder doch noch einiges im Internet zu finden sein wird. Im Moment Fehlanzeige.
      Dieses Problem soll es bereit nach dem Upgrade von Win7 auf Win10 in 2015 sehr zahlreich gegeben haben. Lösungen -Fehlanzeige. So jedenfalls in den diversen Internetforen nachzulesen.
      Weiß hier jemand zufällig etwas über dieses Problem?
      Ich bin schon kurz vor dem Entschluß den Rechner meiner Frau auf Linux (Mint) umzustellen. Sie benutzt den Rechner ja nur für Internet, Fotoverwaltung und Tabellenkalkulation.

    Hallo,
    auf meinem PC installierte sich das March-Update normal, bei dem TOSHIBA-Laptop-L770D aber funktionierte die Tastatur danach nicht mehr (Fehler wegen Lenovo Pointing Device) und die 2 folgenden KB's ließen sich – auch einzeln und manuell – nicht übertragen/installieren.

    Damit ergeben sich für mich 2 Fragen:

    Microsoft mag der Meinung sein, dass es keine Probleme mit dem Update gibt, bei mir ist es jedoch so, dass der "Ruhezustand" und auch das "Energiesparen" nicht mehr funktioniert.
    Wenn ich den Ruhezustand versuche, dann rebootet mein Rechner, bei "Energiesparen" bleibt er eigentlich an.
    Auch das Einschlafen bei Nichtnutzung funktioniert nicht mehr. Ich kann in den Energieoptionen einstellen was ich will, der Rechner läuft durch und schläft nie ein.
    Einzig Herunterfahren funktioniert….
