[English]Am 12. September 2017 hat Microsoft kumulative Updates für diverse Windows 10 Builds freigegeben. Hier einige Details zu den jeweiligen Updates.

Update KB4038788 für Windows 10 Version 1706

Das kumulative Sicherheits-Update KB4038788 für Windows 10 Version 1703 (Creators Update) vom 12. September bringt Qualitätsverbesserungen und folgende Problembehebungen:

  • Addressed issue where the color profiles do not revert to the user-specified settings after playing a full-screen game.
  • Updated HDR feature to be turned off by default in the OS.
  • Addressed issue where you can't open the Start menu when you add a third-party IME.
  • Addressed issue with scanners that rely on inbox driver support.
  • Addressed issue in a Mobile Device Manager Enterprise feature to allow headsets to work correctly.
  • Addressed issue where some machines fail to load wireless WAN devices when they resume from Sleep.
  • Addressed issue where Windows Error Reporting doesn't clean up temporary files when there is a redirection on a folder.
  • Addressed issue where revoking a certificate associated with a disabled user account in the CA management console fails. The error is "The user name or password is incorrect. 0x8007052e (WIN32: 1326 ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE)".
  • Addressed issue where LSASS is leaking large amounts of memory.
  • Addressed issue where enabling encryption using syskey.exe renders the system unbootable.
  • Updated the BitLocker.psm1 PowerShell script to not log passwords when logging is enabled.
  • Addressed issue where saving a credential with an empty password to Credential Manager causes the system to crash when attempting to use that credential.

  • Addressed issue where some apps cannot be opened because the IPHlpSvc service stops responding during the Windows boot procedure.
  • Addressed issue where spoolsv.exe stops working.
  • Addressed issue where the Get-AuthenticodeSignature cmdlet does not list TimeStamperCertificate even though the file is time stamped.
  • Addressed issue where, after upgrading to Windows 10, users may experience long delays when running applications hosted on Windows Server 2008 SP2.

Das Update aktualisiert Windows 10 auf die Build 15063.608 und ist per Windows Update sowie im Microsoft Update Catalog (als Download) erhältlich. Bei der Installation des Updates kann es sein, dass Spracheinstellungen für Tschechisch und Arabisch in Microsoft Edge und anderen Anwendungen in Englisch geändert werden.

Update KB4038782 für Windows 10 Version 1607

Das kumulative Sicherheits-Update KB4038782 für Windows 10 Version 1607 (Anniversary Update) vom 12. September bringt Qualitätsverbesserungen und folgende Problembehebungen:

  • Addressed issue where Windows Error Reporting doesn't clean up temporary files when there is a redirection on a folder.
  • Updates to Internet Explorer 11's navigation bar with search box.

Bei Windows 10 V1607-Systemen, die noch kein kumulatives Update erhalten haben, aktualisiert Microsoft auch den Windows Update Client.

Update KB4038783 für Windows 10 Version 1511

Microsoft hat am 12. September 2017 das Update KB4038783 für Windows 10 Version 1511 bereitgestellt. Das Update hebt die Build-Nummer auf 10586.1106 und bringt neben Sicherheitsfixes und Qualitätsverbesserungen folgende Änderungen:

  • Updates to Internet Explorer 11's navigation bar with search box.
  • Addressed issue in Internet Explorer where undo is broken if character conversion is canceled using IME.
  • Addressed issue where spoolsv.exe crashes.

    Wenn man hier so drüberschaut…

    Scheint ja prima zu funktionieren, dies verhindern von OS Fragmentation, dank erzwungener Updates. Ist irgendwie doch eher schlimmer geworden und ähnelt sogar doch immer mehr der Fragmentation von Android, was doch nie passieren sollte.

        Na ja, ich mein ja nur, allein so : Das Update hebt die Build-Nummer auf XXXXX.XXXX

        Wenn das mal an irgendeiner Stelle breiter entscheidend werden sollte, für Treiber, oder was weiß ich, wirds doch echt Chaotisch.
        Hardware für Windows 10 müsste theoretisch doch fast schon die zu verwendende Buildnummer mit angeben ;).

        Die Nutzer stehen dann im Laden und sagen ja ich hab Windows 10, gibt ja nur "DAS".
        Aber irgendwie sinds dann wohl doch schon x Builds, plus Inssider (ob bewusst genutzt, oder auch nicht), gleichzeitig in freier Wildbahn, die sich eben doch mehr, oder weniger fein voneinander unterscheiden.

    Was mir noch aufgefallen ist: Seit gestern gibt es Updates für die Standardapps auf Windows 10 1703, die per Store heruntergeladen werden müssen. Beim ersten Aufruf der App erscheint eine Nachricht, dass sie nicht gestartet werden kann. Im Store erscheint dann der Hinweis, dass eine Reparatur notwendig ist.
    Nach dem Update ist dann die Benutzeroberfläche aktualisiert für die jeweilige App, diese hat Ähnlichkeiten mit dem Fluent-Design, welches mit dem 1709-Upgrade kommen soll. Ich selber bin aber nicht im Insider-Ring.

    Mein China-Tablet wartet noch immer auf V1703.

    Und zu den Problembären hat sich ein weiterer gesellt. Ich hatte nach dem August-Update auf Acronis TrueImage 2018 aktualisiert. Das beinhaltet neuerdings einen Active Protection Service, der gegen Ransonware schützen soll. Aber leider scheinbar auch gegen W10-Updates. Deaktivieren des Dienstes half nichts, ich musste die vier Dienste des Updateservice (wuauserv, cryptSvc, bits und msiserver) beenden, den Updatecache löschen und danach die Dienste wieder starten. An dem cryptSvc hing auch der Acronis Dienst. Und erst danach war das Update dann möglich (ohne den Acronis Dienst wieder zu starten). Vielleicht ein Hinweis für andere Betroffene …

    Soweit keine Probleme, aber doch stören Kleinigkeiten:

    – LaserDrucker (USB) mal wieder verloren (muss wieder neu installiert werden)
    – EncryptionContextMenu – Eintrag bewirkt nichts! (Verschlüsselung kommt nicht im Context-Menu!
    – Sport-Kachel und Datennutzungs-Kachel aktualisieren sich hier nicht!
    – Windows Suche immer noch keine Ergebnisse (Cortana ist hier deaktiviert)
    – Taskbar-Eintrag "DEU" ist immer noch nicht wegzubekommen (naja, ist zu verschmerzen);)
