Gute Nachrichten für die Update-Junkies unter den Windows 10-Nutzern. Nvidia hat den GeForce WHQL-Treiber auf die Version 387.92 aktualisiert. Damit soll der im Blog-Beitrag NVIDIA-Treiber killt Nachtmodus in Windows 10 Insider Previews berichtete Bug gefixt worden sein.

Ansonsten behauptet der Hersteller, dass der neue Treiber grandios ist. Der Treiber fokussiert auf Verbesserungen am Spiel Middle Earth: Shadow of War bzw. die Spieleserie. Heute soll die neue Version herauskommen und Nvidia gibt ein kostenloses Exemplar des Spiels auf Steam heraus, das über seine GeForce Experience Suite eingelöst werden kann. Der Pferdefuß: Der Nutzer muss eine der beiden High-End Grafikkarten, den GTX 1080 oder den GTX 1080 Ti, kaufen. Details zum Einlösen eines Exemplars (gilt laut neowin.net nur bis zum 16. Außerdem behauptet Nvidia, dass dieser Treiber "Leistungsverbesserungen von 15-25%, je nach Systemkonfiguration, in der kürzlich veröffentlichten Forza Motorsport 7" einführt. Der Treiber kommt mit einigen neuen Funktionen, Änderungen und bekannten Problemen.
