Windows 10: Kumulatives Update KB3140768 / KB3140745

Microsoft hat am 8. März 2016 das kumulative Update KB3140768 für Windows 10 Version 1511 und für Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview freigegeben. Für Windows 10 RTM (Build 10240) wurde Update KB3140745 veröffentlicht.

Beim Update KB3140768 (Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1511 and Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 4: March 8, 2016) handelt es sich um ein Sicherheits-Update, welches funktionale Verbesserungen und Bug-Fixes beinhalte. Laut Changelog werden folgende Sicherheitslücken in Windows 10 geschlossen.

Das kumulative Update umfasst maximal 327 Megabyte (32 Bit) bzw. 573 MByte (64 Bit), wenn das kumulative Update nach einer frischen Windows 10-Installation heruntergeladen wird.

  • Fixed additional security issues with Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11, USB storage driver, kernel mode drivers, .NET Framework, graphic fonts, OLE, secondary logon, PDF library, and Adobe Flash Player.

Die maximale Update-Größe beträgt 292 MByte (32 Bit) und 624 MByte (64 Bit). Das Changelog führt folgende Fixes bzw. Verbesserungen für das Update auf:

  • Fixed additional issues with system sounds, file properties, spellcheck, logon, and Internet Explorer 11.
  • Fixed additional security issues with Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11, USB storage driver, kernel mode drivers, .NET Framework, graphic fonts, OLE, secondary logon, and PDF library.

    Was sollen eigentlich Anwender noch für ein Betriebssystem verwenden, die keinen schnellen Internetzugang haben bzw. bekommen können? Das ist jetzt schon die zweite Woche mit einem kumulativen Update von über 500 MB. Und Linux ist im Moment auch nicht besser.

      Die einzelnen kumulativen Updates sind höchstens 60 Mb. gross.Wie Günter ja oben geschrieben hat,diese 500 Mb. beziehen sich darauf,wenn man das System neu installiert hat.Einmal die 500 Mb. drin,wird nur noch "aufgeprompft" auf die vorhandene Basis.also nicht jedesmal 500 Mb. Ansonsten müsste ich ja bereits um die 5 Gigabyte haben seit dem Install der 2511 !

    Wie Günter oben schrieb,sind es nur 500 Mb.,wenn das System grad neu installiert wurde.
    Die weiteren kumulativen Updates umfassen danach höchstens noch je 60 Mb.
    Durum heisst es ja : Kumulativ 1

    Update KB3141032 wurde auch noch für Windows 10 RTM heruntergeladen im WSUS.

    das Standard-Update wurde fehlerfrei ausgerollt.
    mit winver wird mir 10.0.10586.164 auf den PCs und Tablets angezeigt.
    was mich jedoch verwundert, dass unter https://account.microsoft.com/devices PCs 10.0.10586.122 (falsch) 64bit ausweisen und die HP Tablets 10.0.10586.164. 32bit
