Windows 10 V1709: Liste kompatibler Lenovo Geräte

[English]Für Besitzer eines Lenovo-Geräts ist es u.U. hilfreich zu wissen, ob dieses mit Windows 10 Version 1709 (Fall Creators Update) kompatibel ist oder ob es Probleme gibt.

Lenovo hat auf die Supportseite Lenovo devices tested for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update version 1709 (October 2017) freigegeben, auf der alle System aufgelistet werden, die mit dem Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Version 1709 (Oktober 2017, Build 16299) getestet wurden. Der Test umfasst dabei die Kompatibilität auf folgende Windows 10-Varianten:

  • Windows 10 Version 1507 (Juli 2015, Build 10240)
  • Windows 10 Update Version 1511 (November 2015, Build 10586)
  • Windows 10 Anniversary Update Version 1607 (August 2016, Build 14393)
  • Windows 10 Creators Update Version 1703 (April 2017, Build 15063)

Über die folgenden Modellbezeichnungen lassen sich die Tabellen mit den kompatiblen Modellen abrufen.

Ist ein Gerät nicht aufgeführt, wurde das System nicht von Lenovo getestet und aktualisierte Treiber sind möglicherweise nicht verfügbar.

Trotz Kompatibilität noch Einschränkungen

Wer jetzt sein Gerät in den Listen findet, sollte aber genau die Details studieren. Oft sind Lenovo-Beigaben nicht kompatibel oder machen Probleme. Hier mal eine Kostprobe für ThinkPADs:

  • After upgrading to Windows 10 (version 1709), "Power saver" and "High performance" in Power Options will be removed. This is by design. Users should use the power slider instead.
  • After upgrade to Windows 10 (Version 1709), if you use a ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock or Thinkpad USB-C Dock and also have Keyboard and Mouse connected on the dock. Shut down your system and unplug the dock. Then power on system and attached Dock again, you will find the Keyboard and Mouse cannot works. You have to unplug your Keyboard and Mouse and re-plug in them again.
  • All ThinkPad computers with the True Key app: If the True Key app does not work after upgrading  to Windows 10 (1709), go to Store and search by "True Key". Select this app and click Launch in the window displayed. The Microsoft Edge Web browser will be launched and the "You have a new extension" window will pop up at the top right corner. Click Turn it on, and the True Key app will work correctly.
  • All ThinkPad with high wattage power supply adapter (135W or 170W): When turning on Airplane mode with power adapter plugged in, the power icon in the Windows notification area will be changed to a battery icon. This is the limitation of Windows 10 (version 1709). 
  • ThinkPad P50 and P70 computers: If you press the Windows logo key+P to change the project setting and fail to change from Second screen only to PC screen only after upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1703) to Windows 10 (1709), please set the project setting to Duplicate or Extend first, and then change it to PC screen only. 
  • ThinkPad E560p, ThinkPad S5 computers: After upgrading from Windows 10 (1703) to Windows 10 (1709), if the face recognition function and 3D camera do not work, open the Start menu and then click Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera Manager SR300  > Uninstall. Follow the instructions to complete the uninstallation and restart the computer. Download the latest Intel 3D camera driver from the Lenovo Support Web site. Follow the introductions to install the driver. Restart the computer after the driver installation is completed. The 3D camera will work normally.
  • All ThinkPad with Fingerprint Reader support: If the fingerprint does not work after upgrading the operating system from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 (1709), you have to uninstall the Lenovo Fingerprint Manager Pro or Lenovo Fingerprint Manager from Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, and then re-enroll the fingerprints in Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options > Windows Hello in Windows 10 OS (1709).
  • Factory restore from Settings > Update & security > Recovery > Reset this PC > Get started > Restore factory settings does not work after upgrading the operating system from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 (1709). This is by design.
  • ThinkPad 10 computers with Broadcom NFC device: After upgrading the operating system from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 (1709), if you find two NFC and cellular devices when you open the Start menu and click Settings  > Network & Internet >Airplane mode > Wireless devices, do the following:
    • Go to Control Panel and view by Large icons or Small icons. 
    • Click Device Manager and expand Proximity devices. Right-click NFC Proximity Provide and select Uninstall device. 
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation and restart the computer. Then download the new NFC driver from the Lenovo Support Web site.
  • All ThinkPad Helix 2nd and ThinkPad X1 Carbon 3rd Gen computers: If the computer camera does not work after upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 (1709), go to Control Panel and view by Large icons or Small icons. Click Device Manager and expand Imaging devices Right-click Integrated Camera and select Uninstall device. Check Delete the driver software for this device and following  instructions to complete the uninstallation. Then right-click Integrated Rear Camera and select Uninstall device. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation. Restart the computer after the driver uninstallation is completed. The camera will work normally.
  • All ThinkPad with Intel bluetooth:If your computer is installed with the Windows7 (64-bit) operating system, after upgrading the operating system to Windows 10 (1709), please go to Control Panel and view Control Panel by Category. Click Programs > Programs and Features. Click Intel(R)Proset/wireless software for blutooth(R) Technologyto uninstall the instel Bluetooth driver. After that download, a new intel bluetooth driver from the Lenovo Support Web site or System Update. Restart your computer after the driver is installed successfully.
  • All ThinkPad computers with Conexant HD audio: If the computer microphone does not work after upgrading the operating system from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (1709), go to Control Panel and view by Large icons or Small icons. Click Device Manager and expand Sound, video and game controllers. Right-click Conexant SmartAudio HD and select Uninstall device. Follow instructions to complete the uninstallation and restart the computer. Then download the new Windows 10 Audio driver from the Lenovo Support Web site. Restart the computer after the new driver installation is completed.
