Windows Update[English]Zum 10. September 2019 hat Microsoft Sicherheitsupdates für Windows-Clients und –Server, für Office etc. freigegeben. Hier ein kompakter Überblick über diese Updates.

Servicing Stack Updates

Microsoft veröffentlicht inzwischen eine Übersicht über alle aktuellen Servicing Stack Updates (SSUs). Die Liste der SSUs findet sich unter ADV990001.

Anmerkungen zu Updates

Alle Windows 10 Updates sind kumulativ. Das monatliche Update zum Patchday enthält alle Sicherheitsfixes für Windows 10. Zudem sind alle nicht sicherheitsrelevanten Fixes bis zum Patchday enthalten.

Zusätzlich zu den Sicherheitspatches für die Schwachstellen enthalten die Updates sogenannte 'defense-in-depth updates', um die Sicherheit zu verbessern.

Die Updates lassen sich auch per Microsoft Update Catalog herunterladen. Die Updates für Windows RT 8.1 und Microsoft Office RT sind nur über Windows Update erhältlich. Informationen zum Support-Zeitraum für Windows 10 finden sich im Windows Lifecycle Facts Sheet.

Ab Mai 2019 ist der Internet Explorer 11 auf Windows Serverv 2012 verfügbar. Diese Konfiguration ist nur über das kumulative Update für den IE verfügbar.

Die September 2019-Sicherheitsupdates decken 85 Schwachstellen ab, von denen 19 als "kritisch" eingestuft werden, 65 als "wichtig" und eine als "moderat". Es gibt auch einen kritischen Hinweis im Zusammenhang mit dem neuesten Update auf Adobe Flash Player. Talos hat hier eine Zusammenfassung veröffentlicht. Laut askwoody.com sind zwei Schwachstellen 'bekannt', und zwei werden bereits angegriffen (erfordert aber, dass der Angreifer bereits lokal aktiv ist). Auch ein Fix für den Bug in der Windows 10 V1903-Suche und die hohe CPU-Last durch Cortana ist vorhanden (siehe auch meinen alten Beitrag Windows 10 V1903: Suche- und Cortana-Bug in Update KB4512941 bestätigt (5.9.2019), wo ein Fix versprochen wurde).

    Für meinen Windows 7 PC SP1 32 Bit hatte ich soeben auf Windows Update
    folgende Angebote : KB4516065 – KB4514602 – KB4474419 – KB4516655
    Diese 4 Updates habe ich installiert und bis jetzt noch keine negativen
    Vorkommnisse feststellen können. Zur Zeit läuft mein System weiterhin perfekt.

      Kann ich auch für Win 7 SP1 64 Bit bestätigen. KB4516655 wurde nach Installation der ersten 3 Updates nachgeliefert.

        Genau so war es bei mir auch. — Das Update KB4474419
        war bei mir schon vor einiger Zeit installiert. Nachdem
        ich Dieses heute installiert habe, ist das Vorherige wieder
        aus der Liste installierte Updates gelöscht, und das neue
        KB4474419 ist jetzt in der Liste eingetragen. Vielleicht ist
        das eine neu überarbeite Version und ersetzt die Alte.

    kann ich von uns nicht behaupten, es wurde vorgestern aktualisiert (automatisch) KB4516655 und danach geht kein office 365 mehr kein excel, kein word…. es ist zum heulen mit dem Programm !!!
