[English]Microsoft hat zum 26. September 2023 (D-Week) ein optionales, kumulatives (Vorschau-) Update KB5030300 für Windows 10 22H2 freigegeben. Dieses soll zahlreiche Bugs in Windows 10 22H2 beseitigen. Nachfolgend gebe ich einen Überblick bezüglich dieser Updates für Windows 10.

Zu beachten ist, dass es sich bei diesen Updates um sogenannte Preview- oder Vorschau-Updates handelt. Diese sind optional und müssen standardmäßig manuell zum Download und zur Installation angestoßen werden.
Windows 10 Preview Update KB5030300
Das kumulative Preview Update KB5030300 steht für Windows 10 Version 22H2 (alle Versionen) bereit und hebt die Build auf 19045.3516. Hier die Highlights, was behoben wurde.
- New! This update brings back an improved search box experience on the taskbar. If you have a top, bottom, regular, or small icons taskbar, you will see the search box appear. You can use it to easily access apps, files, settings, and more from Windows and the web. You will also have access to the latest search updates, such as search highlights. If you want to restore your previous search experience, you can do that easily. Use the taskbar shortcut menu or respond to a dialog that appears when you use search.
- New! This update adds animations to a few icons on the news and interests taskbar button. These animations occur when:
- A new announcement appears on the news and interests taskbar button.
- You hover over or click the icon while the announcement is on the taskbar.
- This update addresses an issue that affects Microsoft Excel. It stops responding when you try to share a file as a PDF in Outlook.
- This update addresses an issue that affects the touch keyboard. Sometimes it does not open.

- This update supports daylight saving time (DST) changes in Greenland.
- This update changes the spelling of Ukraine's capital from Kiev to Kyiv.
- This update addresses an issue that is related to changes in the forwarding of events.
- This update addresses an issue that affects an Application Virtualization (App-V) environment. Copy operations within it stop working. This occurs after you install the April 2023 update.
- This update addresses an issue that affects the Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) certificate. The system reports some SCEP certificate installations as failed. Instead, the system should report them as pending.
- This update addresses an issue that affects Microsoft Print to PDF. It uses the metadata for the name you sign in with as the author of a printed PDF. It should use the display name instead.
- This update addresses an issue that affects some USB printers. Microsoft Defender stops them from printing.
- This update addresses an issue that affects device health. Some devices cannot attest to their security health.
- This update addresses an issue that affects Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC). AppID Tagging policies might greatly increase how long it takes your device to start up.

Das Update ist optional und wird per Windows Update angeboten, wenn der Nutzer explizit in der Einstellungen-Seite nach Updates suchen lässt und dann das optionale Update zum Download und zur Installation auswählt. Das Update lässt sich auch aus dem Microsoft Update Catalog herunterladen und installieren. Das neueste Servicing Stack Update (SSU) ist integriert. Man, was ist das für eine Welt. MS ist unfähig und die deutsche Politik noch blöder.
Gegenwärtig ist es so, dass ich fast halbtäglich Falschdarsztellungen und Nötigungen erlebe. Das nicht nur in der (aber vor allem) in der PC-Branche. Natürlich ist dabei MS führend. Aber man darf MS nicht das Feld alleine überlassen. Auch Chrome ist mit ihrem "Feigenblatt" Duckduckdo im eigenen Brower unterwegs. Die deutsche Politik lässt im öR auch nicht locker und so werden über den öR bewußte Falschdarstellungen über die Grundsteuefeststellungserklärungen und den el. Krankenschein verbreitet. (nachweisbar, ich darf.)
Nun kommt aber wieder MS in die Welt und sagt – Wir haben eine Neuerung.
Gut, Früher würde man sagen: Mal testen – Heute ist es so. dass man erst erschossen wird und als Leiche liegt (!) bevor man die neue "Option" abwählen kann.
Frage an MS= Was soll ein überdimensioniertes Suchfeld in der Taskleiste? Ich denk ich spinne. ABER MS ist einfach zu blöd geworden. Na ja, die Welt spinnt sowieso und ich geben auf das ganze Weltsystem noch maximal 10 Jahre. Dann sollte es aber wirklich kollabieren. Danke MS = Sie haben den Termin auf 9 Jahre gesenkt.

Guten Morgen zusammen,
als ein nicht ganz so Fachkundiger PC User hätte ich mal eine Frage zu diesem Fehler ,der ja mit diesem Update gefixt werden soll :

Mein Rechner hat seit ca.3-4 Wochen das Problem das er urplötzlich nur noch wie in Zeitlupe reagiert.Kein Bluescreen oder sonstige abstürze,aber dennoch hilft nur abmelden oder neustart des PC.Danach läuft er dann eine Weile normal weiter.
Könnte das damit zusammenhängen ?Wobei im Taskmanager,wo man nach Minuten langen warten reinkommt, keine besondere Auslastung angezeigt wird.

Wir haben KB5030300 bei knapp 600 Geräten installiert und bei ca. 40 Geräten haben wir das gleiche Problem, Neustart dauert ewig und nach einer gewissen Zeit reagiert das Gerät nur langsam. Nach der Deinstallation des von KB5030300 bei den betroffenen Geräten funktioniert es wieder wie gewohnt.
