[English]Zum 9. Juni 2020 hat Microsoft diverse Updates für Windows 8.1 freigegeben. Diese Updates sind aber auch für Windows Server 2012 R2 verfügbar. Hier einige Informationen dazu.

Für Windows 8.1 und Windows Server 2012 R2 wurden ein Rollup und ein Security-only Update freigegeben. Die Update-Historie für Windows 8.1 und Windows Server 2012 R2 ist auf dieser Microsoft-Seite zu finden.
Wegen der Coronavirus-Pandemie beschränkt Microsoft sich seit Mai 2020 auf Sicherheitsupdates – Preview-Updates in der C- und D-Woche werden keine ausgerollt.
KB4561666 (Monthly Rollup) für Windows 8.1/Server 2012 R2
Update KB4561666 (Monthly Rollup for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2) enthält Verbesserungen und Fixes, und adressiert die folgenden Punkte.
- Addresses an issue that prevents users from updating .msi files from a network folder.
- Security updates to Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Kernel, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Media, Windows Shell, Windows Cloud Infrastructure, Windows Fundamentals, Windows File Server and Clustering, Windows Hybrid Storage Services, the Microsoft Scripting Engine, and the Microsoft JET Database Engine.
Dieses Update wird automatisch von Windows Update heruntergeladen und installiert, ist aber auch im Microsoft Update Catalog sowie per WSUS erhältlich. Bei einer manuellen Installation ist das neueste Servicing Stack Update (SSU KB4562253 vom Juni 2020) vorher zu installieren – wobei dieses SSU nicht mehr deinstalliert werden kann. Microsoft sind keine Probleme in Verbindung mit dem Update bekannt.

Update KB4561673 (Security Only Quality Update for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2) adressiert folgenden Punkte.
Security updates to Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Kernel, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Media, Windows Shell, Windows Cloud Infrastructure, Windows Fundamentals, Windows File Server and Clustering, Windows Hybrid Storage Services, and the Microsoft JET Database Engine.
Das Update gibt es per WSUS oder im Microsoft Update Catalog. Details zum Update sind im KB-Artikel beschrieben. Bei einer manuellen Installation ist das neueste Servicing Stack Update (SSU) vorher zu installieren. Zudem sollte auch das Sicherheitsupdate KB4561603 für den IE installiert werden.

Bei mir hängt der ESET File Security unter W2K12R2, entweder wegen KB4561673 oder KB4561603 (IE), mein Workaround ist, den ESET "vorübergehend zu deaktivieren". Hilft auch, wenn er schon hängt, dann kommt sofort die Neustartaufforderung. Das ist mir jetzt bei 3 von 7 Servern passiert.
50% CPU-Last des ESET Dienstes.

Patchday Juni 2020 über Windows Update: Keine Probleme mit KB4561666 auf meinem Windows 8.1 (64)-System.
Anschließend hat Windows Update das Servicing Stack Update KB4562253 gefunden und auch erfolgreich installiert.
