    Einige Nutzer bekommen die kumulativen Updates nicht bei der Windows Update-Suche angeboten. Bei askwoody.com gibt es hier eine Diskussion zum Thema.

    Überraschend (abgedroschene Medien-Dummsprech Floskel) ist die Veröffentlichung von Windows Update Vorschauversionen wohl weniger — diese sollte ja bereits am vergangenen Dienstag von Microsoft angeboten werden. Da es sich hier nur um eine Vorschauversion handelt — die auch nicht automatisch installiert wird –, sollte man die Finger davon lassen und warten, bis dieses Update am kommenden "Patch Tuesday" (2. Dienstag des Monats) ausgeliefert und dann auch automatisch installiert wird.

      Das KB4458469 ist keine Vorschauversion, sondern ein regulär freigegebenes Update, dass vom Update auch am 20.09. angezeigt und installiert wurde. Und überraschend war es eindeutig auch, da weder angekündigt noch im bisherigen normalen Updatezyklus (2. Dienstag bzw. Monatsende). Immerhin schon das dritte große Update diese Woche (Montag 17., Dienstag 18. und jetzt Donnerstag 20.)

      Wäre schön, wenn Microsoft das mal ein wenig besser bündeln könnte. Wenn man seinen PC benötigt, ist eine Sicherung vor und nach dem Update nötig. Für jeden Updatetag dann doch zusammen genommen eine ganze Stunde Aufwand.

    sagen, überrascht nicht weil: von 446xxxx zurück zu 445xxxx ist keine überraschung.

    es hat mal wieder zu viel neuer schrott nicht funktioniert, dabei hat sich soviel alter schrott schon angehäuft.

    auf irgendwelche a b c (d?) releases zu irgend einem tag in der zukunft geb ich ebenfalls absolut garnichts! meine suprastabile ultimative windows 10 build die ich auf unabsehbare zeit verwenden werde, kam am 29. märz, einem donnerstag! (die build 2 tage zuvor gleicht einem weltuntergang wegen unexpected kernel mode trap – double fault in der endlos/endlosschleife)

    KB4456655 ist für die 1803 (catalog). SSU für die 1709 ist KB4339420 ("latest SSU" lt MS).
    Die 1709 hat – lt deskmodder – noch ein "Kompatibilitätsupdate" KB4457189 bekommen, kein manueller DL, bzw. cab-Datei.

        vielleicht würde die erfahrung einer krankheit wie syphyllis oder tripper dazu führen dass man als techi dieses update-nirvana leichter ertrüge. keine ahnung! ^^

        ich betrachte diesen blog hier schon seit längerem als so eine art selbsthilfegruppe für durch windows update psychisch angeschlagene techniker.

    KB 4458469 ist nur für ARM-basierte Systeme im Microsoft Update Catalog herunterladbar.
    Im Windows Update auf meinen Computern wird es nicht angeboten.

    Für Windows 10 V1803 bekomme ich das Kumulative Update KB 4464218 und KB 4100347 (Intel Microcode) angeboten!

      Letzteres (KB 4100347) installiert und verursacht bis jetzt keine Probleme auf meinem W10 64-bit Pro 1803.

      Ersteres (KB 4464218) bis jetzt noch nicht angeboten worden.
